Another Cheesy Afternoon in at the Cohoes Mac n Cheese Bowl

On Saturday, October 18, we spent the afternoon in downtown Cohoes for the 15th Annual Mac n Cheese Bowl, a fantastic event organized by the Regional Food Bank.

This event is a great opportunity for the city and Capital Region to come together and raise funds for a wonderful cause.

Spindles participated as a vendor for the first time in 2024 and returned this year for another sunny fall afternoon.

The weather was perfect, and there was a great turnout with over 15-20 Capital Region-based restaurants competing with their signature Mac n Cheese creations.

Although we don’t make our own Mac n Cheese, like any Cohoes event, we enjoy participating and providing fun games and giveaways for all ages to enjoy.

This year, we brought our new inflatable soccer dart board, which we debuted on the 4th of July and the Grassroots Cup 2025.

All ages were allowed three free attempts at winning prizes. If they hit the bullseye two out of three shots, they would win a free Spindles scarf. If they only hit it once, they would earn a free poster. Regardless, everyone received a free Spindles sticker for trying.

We gave away hundreds of stickers, a couple of scarves, and posters.

In addition to the games, attendees also enjoyed 25% off our entire Spindles Club Store.
