Spindles are back playing on Tuesday nights, with a convincing victory and clean sheet over Highlanders.

I already typed this who recap and then for some reason it did not save, so here is the shortened version, because I am not retyping all of that - Jarron

The game started out fast for both teams.

Anders Trestick took the lead for Spindles. 1-0, 21’.

Highlanders got chances.

Half ended 1-0.

Spindles came out in the second looking to seal the win.

David Kankam scored his first Spindles goal from a Mason Kievit pass. 2-0, 63’.

Frankie Palumbo came on and score his first Spindles goal as well, thanks to a Rabona pass by Kankam. 3-0, 70’.

Shortly after, Palumbo got another off a redirected header from Dominic Whalens cross. 4-0, 72’.

Palumbos two goals off the bench earned him the Bear Digital Man of the Match.

Spindles are back on Tuesday, July 8 at Nott Road against Vassi, before the 2025 Grassroots Cup on Sunday, July 13
