The Fall (More Like Winter) Showcase

Despite the sub 40 ºF temperature, The Fall Showcase on Sunday evening was a great success.

Nearly 40 players from all areas, schools, and backgrounds came out to indulge in an evening of competitive, grassroots football at the ACPHS Turf Field.

The night consisted of small-sided and full-field games, merchandise giveaways, networking, and overall community building.

Not only was The Fall Showcase a chance for players to show what they've got on the pitch. But also an opportunity for new players to learn more about Spindles United and what the club is trying to achieve.

How it went down

Players were greeted at the front tent to get checked in and receive their numbers and pinnie.

The first hour was 2, 9v9 games at a time, switching between 4 different teams.

2 of the teams sported our new branded pink and green pinnies, thanks to Justin at Bigger Prints in Cohoes, NY.

After a short break and rearrangement of teams, the players moved into 11v11 on the big field.

High intensity and good competition saw plenty of goals, good ball movement, and solid defense.

Thank you.

Thank you to all the players that showed out, as well as the volunteers, coaches, and staff that made the event possible.
